ReplyDeleteAs you may have noticed I am going through the Gospel of John. I enjoy every part of it so far, but this story of the blind man has a special meaning to me. During a transition period in my professional life - 10 years ago - I really didn't understand why God was leading me in a certain direction. I was looking for clues and signs, but it was getting harder and harder for me to see what God wanted me to do. Looking back on this period, I am happy that the Lord guided me in this way, all the time teaching me to wait for him and to trust him even if I couldn't see where the road was leading.
Isnt that what a life of real faith is all about. The first disciples really did not know where they were going. The didn't see the cross coming they just followed.
ReplyDeleteI think we all like to plan, be prepared and have the end in sight. This works great in the business world. Trouble is, this is not how a disciple lives.
