Reunited

Last Saturday Robin, Sosha and Pascalle came back home after their Summer camp. They had a great time; they all need to get some sleep now! Lydia and I enjoyed our week together but it is good to be reunited again!
We did replace one piece of furniture in our living room while our kids were away. You don't want to change the interior too drastically when your kids are away, do you? Home, sweet home...

Nice piece of furniture! My parents always thought it would be funny to completely rearrange the furniture - rooms and all - whenever we kids left for a while. I came from a family of practical jokers, and we would go to a lot of trouble to baffle each other! My poor kids practically lived in fear knowing of my inclination toward playing jokes on them.

It's nice to have everyone back together, isn't it?

Yes it is! But now I have to work again... But I am not complaining, my work is fun too.
We would like to make some drastic changes in our living room, not because we don't like it as it is, but sometimes you just need a change. I've noticed that my kids are more conservative in this area, although they do like this new piece of furniture (it gives them a better look at the TV screen, ha ha).

Anything to improve the entertainment, huh?

I like to rearrange furniture once in a while, too, but sometimes it's just not practical - like in this apartment. There really isn't any room to get creative. Perhaps when we are able to get a new house...after we sell the old one, of course!

Don't know about you, Vicki, but I think it is a very bad time to sell or buy a house in the USA right now... Stick to what you have (and can afford), that's what I say! ;-)
