Let's use this power in a constructive way...

“You Christians have in your keeping a document with enough dynamite in it to blow the whole of civilization to bits...” Mahatma Gandhi

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17)

I think that we have gotten so used to experiencing God in domesticated, tamed ways, that for many of us we have simply forgotten how powerful, dynamic, and untamable our faith truly is. Thanks for the great reminder.

Thanks also for the reminder that is often takes an outsider to point out what is most taken for granted.

I agree--we completely miss the radical nature of Jesus most of the time.

Thanks for the friendly comments, guys. Yes, these words are both inspiring and 'embarassing'... We have the best Book, we serve the eternal God of the Universe, our Saviour is the One and Only and He guides us daily by his powerful Spirit but sometimes we are still too shy to go out and claim the Victory for our King! Let's change that, okay?
