Our booth at the Christian Book Fair

Last Friday, Saturday and Monday we did our best to promote our books, calendars and cards at the BCB Christian Book Fair in Zwolle, the Netherlands. At Ark Boeken we do give a lot of attention to the looks of our products - they are about the most important message in the world, so we make sure that they are of good quality and look attractive! That is also why we paid a lot of attention (and quite some money) on our booth - to present our new titles in an attractive, professional environment. I am very proud of our team and our booth and just want to share some impressions with you!

Paul said...: Ja, Conny - toen ik je zag ben ik direct achter een pilaar gaan staan - ha , ha. Nee hoor, het was gewoon weer een knetterdrukke dag met twee presentaties en heel veel mensen die me aanschoten. Ik ben regelmatig op de stand geweest, maar ook vaak ergens anders in de IJsselhallen. Maar het was inderdaad heel leuk! Als boekenliefhebber zou ik er ook wel eens rond willen lopen zonder 'agenda' - maar ja, je kunt niet alles hebben. Bedankt voor je reactie!; 9/20/2007 1:16 pm

I do not condemn theologians wholesale, but it is unfortunately the fashion in Western thinking to doubt and deny everything. I protest this tendency. I never advise anyone to consult theologians, because all too often they have completely lost all sense of spiritual reality. In the Bible clouds are always associated with God. Clouds are the sorrows, sufferings, or providential circumstances, within or without our personal lives, which actually seem to contradict the sovereignty of God. Yet it is through these very clouds that the Spirit of God is teaching us how to walk by faith. If there were never any clouds in our lives, we would have no faith. "The clouds are the dust of His feet" (Nahum 1:3). They are a sign that God is there. What a revelation it is to know that sorrow, bereavement, and suffering are actually the clouds that come along with God!
