Pascalle = 11
Last Sunday, June 8, we celebrated Pascalle's 11th birthday. To quote Stevie W: Isn't She Lovely? Yes, she is my beautiful 'little' girl!

Happy 29th Birthday, Lydia!
We are celebrating Lydia's 29th birthday for the 14th time! Yes, she still looks young - must be because of our kids. Happy birthday Lydia - we all love you very, very much!

And this is Pascalle's blue & white bed room
Today I finished Pascalle's romantic blue & white bed room too! She has the same bed and desk (with add-on unit) as her teenage sister Sosha - see last posting. The bed / sofa can also be used as a double bed in case nieces, nephews or friends want to sleep over. But we can also use these two double beds when we have grown-up guests!
We want to make a big wardrobe with sliding doors in the little corner next to the bed where we also want to hang an IKEA chair (see pic right).
Pascalle still needs to decide where she wants to hang the green poster with the sweet little doggie. She assisted her daddy by keeping him company every now and then, by handing over the tools and screws - she persistently calls them nails - and by bringing soft drinks and chips upstairs. She even fell down the stairs yesterday with a plate full of paprika chips :-( but she's okay now and very happy :-) with her new bed room...

The writing is on the wall
Our girls took advantage of the fact that their bedroom will be completely changed. They chalked some drawings and texts on the wallpaper of their bedroom - and I made some pictures of their art work just before the builders started their work!
Sosha loves football and you can still tell where her bed once was... Of course she took all the posters with her sporting heroes off the wall after these pictures were taken. The text in the second pic states: I'm God's Original Creation. So true. (Click pics to enlarge.)

Cool & Funny

Maybe you didn't know this yet, but my daughters are cool and funny. Oh yes, and they are beautiful and sweet too. That is not just my opinion as a dad, these are the facts. Click on the pics to enlarge.

Personal note for Father's Day
This is what my daughter Pascalle (10) typed on a laptop computer that I left on my bed during a short bathroom break:Daddy
I love jou zo mats.
Pascalle
Hey pap
Slaap lekker.
pascalle
I guess I don't have to translate the 'English' words from the first four lines, but for those of you who can't read Dutch - the fifth line says: 'Sleep well'.
Don't worry, we also talk face to face with each other! But this is a girl who knows that her father is passionate about reading and writing and who just wanted to leave a kind surprise message on his computer screen before going to sleep. Isn't that sweet?
Guess what I did...
I saved Pascalle's words to my internal heart drive.
