Glad you got some snow too. The kids love it don't they? Have fun!

Hi there! Thank you for the encouragement :) Finals ahead, you know! There are stacks of notes and papers and books on my desk and although I feel like that girl in the pic I know that I will get through the pile... one page at a time ;) God give me concentration and discipline to study and not get overwhelmed. Thanx for reminding me of that verse too. It does help to know that I can draw my strength and help from God, also in this!

PS. Looks like your daughters had great fun in the snow!!! Cute pictures!

Yep, but only the blonde girl is my daughter Pascalle - the other girl (with the green shawl and hat) is her friend Kimberley from school. They had a great time together this afternoon, and I enjoyed watching them - sitting and typing in a warm living room. The girls had red noses, red cheeks... but they just didn't care about the cold and the dirt on the ground, ha ha!

Great photos Paul, from the last 2 posts. :)
I had the impression that Holland had snow more often than not!
My friend Arie (BMF) tells me stories of his childhood in Holland and mostly it's about snow, cold and dark and what they did in the snow, cold and dark!

Yeah, it used to be slightly colder than the North Pole here, but due to global warming we will soon have tropical beaches and palm trees here... Fancy a coconut? ;-)

Hmm, getting warmer in Holland? Palm trees and coconuts? Does that mean things will be topsy-turvy someday and that Florida will have snow and ice? Maybe I shouldn't have given away my snow shovel when we moved south.

Funny you should mention the North Pole...Doc and I were at the other North Pole (the one in Alaska) in 2004, and it was incredibly HOT! I think the temperature hit the low 90s (Fahrenheit) each day we were there.

Well, our snow is almost completely gone already :-(
It is clear that the temperatures are rising all over the world. Looks like mother earth has a fever. I'm sure we are (at least partly) to blame for it because of the polution of the air. I did hear that the ice on the South Pole is growing! (Didn't check this information) Maybe the changing temperatures are also caused by the changing activity of the sun? We've had ice ages too, so there is a long term climate variation too...

I am jealous for all that snow, after some nice cold weather in Hong Kong its back to being humid.

Would love to give you more information about Crossroads and Sue & I. Email me on hkwarners@gmail.com
